These open voice systems are known as half duplex voice system which allows you to perform a number of actions by pressing a particular button. You can talk, listen, or open a door by pushing a button. You can not do all of these things at once though. Each button will perform a different operation. TEK TONE offers three, four, or five wire speaker station version and a fire wire handset type system. All of their apartment entry intercoms are vandal resistant. Their systems also offer a state of the art telephone entry system for phone line and no phone line applications. LEE DAN offers a number of intercom systems. Some of their systems are extremely easy to hook up with only two wires. LEE DAN ENTERLOK offers a selection of over twenty remotes including outdoor, indoor, vandal proof, and even patio horn styles. Remote stations can be equipped with a call in button to signal the master. Only one set of twisted of wire is required to connect the master to the remote speaker.
